The FencePro UltraGlide Rear Shift is a compact, purpose-built rear shift base designed for steep hill country fencing, where stability is key.

Its clever design tucks neatly between the tractor linkages, keeping the weight of your post rammer close to the tractor. The result is improved balance, better control, and increased stability when working across slopes and uneven terrain.

While the UltraGlide Rear Shift keeps the post driver close for stability, it still gives you 300mm of controlled rear shift travel. That means if you’re slightly off your post mark, you can fine-tune your position using the rear shift in combination with your mast shift — without needing to reposition the tractor.

If maximum base movement is your priority and you’re happy to carry the post rammer further from the tractor, FencePro’s PB650 or RB800 bases may be better suited. But for operators working in hill country who want the best balance of stability and adjustment, the UltraGlide Rear Shift is the go-to option.
